Terms of Use

Terms, Returns & Workshop Policy

Thank you for choosing Victoria Liddell Jewellery. Each piece is handmade with care in Jersey, and many of my pieces are personalised or made especially for you. Please take a moment to read the following policies before placing an order or booking a workshop.

Handmade Jewellery

All jewellery is handmade to order in my Jersey studio. Because of this, there may be very slight variations in texture, shape and finish. These are part of the character of handmade jewellery and make each piece unique.

Please check your ring size, personalisation details and any other choices carefully before placing your order.

Personalised & Made-to-Order Jewellery

Personalised, engraved, hand-stamped and made-to-order jewellery is created specifically for you and therefore cannot normally be returned or exchanged if you change your mind.

Please make sure all names, dates, initials, birthstones and other personalisation details are correct when ordering. I cannot be responsible for errors supplied by the customer.

If I have made an error with your personalisation, please contact me as soon as possible and I will be happy to resolve this with you.

Returns & Exchanges

For non-personalised jewellery, if you change your mind, please contact me within 14 days of receiving your order.

Items must be returned unworn and in their original condition and packaging. Return postage is the responsibility of the customer.

Personalised, engraved and made-to-order pieces are not eligible for a change-of-mind return or exchange, unless the item is faulty or I have made an error with your order.

If your jewellery arrives damaged or develops a fault, please contact me as soon as possible with photographs and details of the issue so I can help.

Ring Sizes

Please take care when selecting your ring size, particularly for made-to-order or personalised rings.

If you are unsure of your size, I recommend having your finger professionally measured before ordering.

If a made-to-order ring is produced in the size requested but does not fit, resizing may be possible depending on the design. Any resizing costs and return postage may be payable by the customer.

Jewellery Care

Sterling silver and gold jewellery will naturally change over time with wear. Some finishes, including hammered and textured surfaces, may also develop their own character.

To help keep your jewellery looking its best, remove it before swimming, bathing, exercising, using cleaning products or applying perfumes and creams. Store pieces separately when not being worn.

Please contact me if you need advice about caring for or cleaning your jewellery.

Jewellery Workshops

My workshops are booked in advance and spaces are limited. When you book a workshop, your place is reserved specifically for you.

Workshop Bookings & Cancellations

Workshop bookings are non-refundable.

I understand that plans can change and that sometimes you may no longer be able to attend the date you originally booked. Where possible, I am very happy to help you move your booking to another available workshop date.

If you cannot attend your original date, please contact me as soon as possible so that we can look at the available options.

Workshop Credit

If you are unable to attend your booked workshop, I can offer credit towards a future workshop, jewellery purchase or gift voucher, subject to availability.

Workshop credit cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded to the original payment method.

Changing Your Workshop Date

I will always do my best to accommodate a request to change dates, but this is subject to availability.

If you are unable to attend and your place cannot be filled, I cannot guarantee that a refund will be available.

If I Need to Change or Cancel a Workshop

Occasionally, circumstances outside my control may mean that I need to change or postpone a workshop, for example due to venue availability or unforeseen circumstances.

If I need to reschedule a workshop, you will be offered the option to transfer your booking to another suitable date or receive credit for the value of your booking.

If I am unable to provide the workshop at all, I will contact you to discuss the available options.

Arriving for Your Workshop

Please arrive at the time stated in your booking information. As workshops are carefully planned around the time available, arriving late may reduce the amount of time you have to complete your jewellery.

If you are running late, please contact me as soon as possible.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers can be used towards jewellery or jewellery workshops and are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated.

Gift vouchers cannot normally be exchanged for cash.

If You Have a Problem With Your Order

I want you to be happy with your jewellery and your experience. If something isn't right, please contact me directly before leaving a review or opening a payment dispute, and I will always do my best to resolve the issue fairly.

For any questions about these policies, please get in touch before placing your order or booking a workshop.

Thank you for supporting a small handmade business. ♡
